It’s Winter Festival time again! We think we have a great festival planned for you in 2011. Our ’11 headliners will be:

Karen Ashbrook & Paul Oorts
Susan Trump
Bing Futch

We have also assembled another first-class "local" staff, many of whom are in demand as headliners at other festivals around the country. Put it all together and you have a weekend filled with informative workshops, outstanding concerts and good times. We hope you'll be able to join us.
We have a few openings for Volunteers in the registration booth, staff booth and Sat. night cleanup crew. We are unable to offer any ticket discounts to our volunteers, but you will earn our eternal gratitude, and we reserve the first couple of rows in the concert area for you, so you'll have the only reserved seats in the house!
The workshops are, for the most part, hands-on, so bring your instruments. Audio recorders are permitted in workshops, as long as it's for your own use. Do not sell or distribute anything recorded at Winter Festival. No video recording allowed without prior express written permission from each individual staff member who will be taped. No video/audio taping allowed in concerts.

At the FLEA MARKET TABLE, you can place used instruments for sale. This will be near the staff booth. LSSDS and WF will not participate in the transaction and can't be responsible for instruments there, but we'll all try to keep an eye on them and we've not lost anything from there, yet.

PLEASE NOTE: Orders that include tee shirts or sweatshirts must be postmarked by January TBD to be honored. Orders for tickets only must be postmarked by January TBD. Orders mailed after these dates will be subject to "At the Door" prices

SPECIAL MOTEL RATES: Information will be posted as soon as it is available.

ATTENTION RVer's and CAMPERS! There is no overnight camping at the festival site. The limited space available is reserved for a couple of our crafts vendors. No other campers will be allowed. There are nice rv parks/campgrounds at Trader's Village in Grand Prairie and at Cedar Hill State Park. Both are about 20-30 minutes away, depending on traffic.
Food will be available at the church during the day as well as dinner each night. This, however, is subject to change. You must make a reservation at the festival entry desk for the evening meals. McDonalds and Arby's are across the street from the church and other restaurants a short drive away.

FOOD will be available at the church during the day as well as dinner each night. This service is brought to you by and benefits the church's youth organization. Check to see whether you need to make a reservation for dinner. It's really nice to have a chance to eat onsite and visit with friends, extending the festival experience. However, other food is available nearby. McDonald's and Arby's are across the street and other restaurants are close.
